School Cancelled for Monday, January 26 - I'm sorry that this is coming so late, but it has been genuinely difficult trying to figure out how the weather is going to affect us today. However, most of the counties surrounding us have cancelled over the past hour or so, and there is a strong possibility of the weather becoming more inclement as the day goes on into the evening. To have a delay and an early dismissal just wastes a day, so I feel this is a better way to proceed. Thank you for your patience, and please be safe should the weather worsen over the coming hours.

Friday, January 23 is the deadline for the Chick-fil-A orders for Tuesday, January 27.
Thank you for your patience as we worked out new lunch options. As many of you know, we are no longer using Schoolhouse Grill and so have now changed the menu options. We will now offer two days of Papa John’s pizza and one day of Chick-fil-A. Please understand this is a trial run with Chick-fil-A. The first delivery will be on Tuesday, January 27th, and at the end of February we will evaluate the interest and let you know if we will continue with the service.
Please review the MENU and the deadlines for all orders – no exceptions will be made for orders not placed on time. There are many items and several combos from which to choose from Chick-fil-A so please be neat when writing your choices to ensure order accuracy. As usual, orders may not be charged so please send payment with your child’s order.
Please be aware that LCS follows Loudoun County Public Schools for all weather announcements regarding school delays, early dismissals or cancellations. However, if LCS finds a need to deviate from LCPS, it will make a decision based on more safety for our staff and parents.
Updates will be emailed and posted on our website (www.lcsva.com), the Leesburg Christian School Facebook page, Fox News (channel 5), WTOP 103.5 (online and air) and on the church/school phone.
Thank you to all the families that have chosen LCS! Our theme for the year is “Continue in What You Have Learned ” from II Timothy 3:14,
“But continue thou in the things thou hast learned and been assured of, knowing
of whom thou hast learned them.”
